We announce the death of Gary Gilbert of Missoula, Montana, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 83. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gary will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Gary’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Eugene Gilbert and Leo Vonice Gilbert (Pullium); and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughters, Angela "Angie" Gilbert, Ann Rigg and Aimee Nelson (Joe); and his grandchildren, Mady Rigg and Bailey Rigg.
