He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stevenson and Jean Dargavel Stevenson; his wife Mary; and his siblings, Art (Cynthia), Fred (Kathy), Pearl Duncan (Earl), Rose Johnson (Ray), June Bennyhoff Kuney (Harold Bennyhoff) and Shirley Enge (Ken).

He is survived by: his children, Mike (Karen Aspevig) of Miles City, Gwen Schneiter (Dennis) of Florence, Jim (Lee Barkmann) of Silesia, Judy Hay (Hal) of Helena and Laurie of Wanaka; and his grandchildren, Alika Skaggs, Matt Schneiter, Chad Schneiter, Greta, Ann Stevenson, Vince Stevenson, Max Hay, Blakely Hay, Ramsay Ballew, Luke Stevenson, Rita Stevenson, Callum Scurr and Hayley Scurr. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
