He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara J. Smith (Cottrell) and Raymond W. Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael, Kathy Smith, Dale Smith, Linda Gnojek, Bob Smith and Jeanne Smith Bily; and his close friends, Tim Martin of Missoula and Jeff Stephens of Missoula. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews and one grandniece.
