He is survived by: his wife Joan Cross; his children, Lowell (Estrella) of Weeki Wachee, Florida, Dorothy Cross of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Donna Hengeveld (Steve) of Port Townsend, Dorlene Cross of Spokane, Washington and Marjorie; his granddaughter Colleen Teichman (Paul) of Kalispell, Montana; and his sister Shirley Nelson of Carson, Washington. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Yates Funeral Home - Coeur D'Alene Chapel (744 N 4th St, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814).
As his declining mental state drifted into Alzheimer's, Lyle's mode of communication became song.
