He was predeceased by: his father Robert Avery; and his stepdaughter Amanda Erchul. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Avery; his wife Michelle (Goldman); his children, Kyle Avery (Melissa) and Robyn Baertsch (Justin); his stepchildren, Patricia, Nicole Johnsen and Layton Fredericks; his sisters, Barb Bybee (Ron), Brenda Ingersoll (Mark), Trish Smith (Tim) and Anne Hoy (Rick); and his granddaughter Sawyer Baertsch.
