He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Varner and Selma Varner; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Varner; and his siblings, Larry Varner, Duffy Varner and Betty Newgard.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Varner (Missoula) and Richie Varner (Windy); his grandchildren, Kayden, Aspen and Parker Varner; his sister Joanne Hamondy; and his close friend Ron Chatriand (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
