“Sorry to read of Bob's passing in the UM Alumni magazine, the Montanan. He was a very good friend of my dad and mom, Dewey & Pat Marchildon. Lots of good times, plenty of parties, bird hunting trips, fishing trips to Lac LaRonge, Saskatchewan, time up at Flathead Lake. Bob was part of the family for the Marchildons. He was extremely kind to my mom, Pat, after my dad Dewey's death. He is up there now with lots of friends from the past, having fun & trading stories. Susan Marchildon Wagner”

“We were saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. We knew him from Arizona birding, and we loved his dry sense of humor, and I, Ruth, loved his hugs. We last saw Bob on a birding outing in AZ last year, and while he seemed a little frail, he still had that twinkle in his eye, and a quick-witted comment for me.”
