He is survived by: his sister Rose-Marie; and his children, Craig Gaertner (Cindy) of Post Falls, Glenn Gaertner (Shelly) of Missoula, Timothy Gaertner (Jacquie) of Whitefish, Renee Woods (Fred) of Missoula and Andrea Chase (Robert) of Missoula. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
