He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann Millar; his children, James and Laura Markalonis; his daughter-in-law Lita Markalonis; his grandchildren, Michael, Meagon, Felicia, Nathan and Hershel; and his close friend Georgina Heidrick. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
