He was predeceased by : his parents, William Kummerfeldt and Ossie Kummerfeldt (Jamison); and his siblings, Floyd, Melvin, Ernest, Walter Kummerfeldt and Vera Buchmann.

He is survived by : his children, Karyn Taylor (William) of Portland, Oregon and Kurt Kummerfeldt (Tammy) of Nashua, Montana; his grandsons, Caleb, Luke, Zack Taylor, Kaden and Zevin Kummerfeldt; and his sisters, Louise Fournier of Helena and Irene Bryant of Great Falls, Montana..
