He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Newby and Lois Davidson. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Lee Cortez (Omar) of Pleasant Grove, CA; his grandchildren, Junior, Marcus and Em Marie; his daughter Traci Thomas (Shane) of Pinehurst, NC; his grandchildren, Sydney, Hanna and Jacob; his uncle Louis Davidson (Norma); and his siblings, Denny Newby (Pam), Joye Albert (Fred), Rick Newby, Tam Newby, Melissa Blue and Yolanda Brown Andrews. He is also survived by cousins, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great great nieces & nephews.
