We announce the death of Bonnie Merritt (Plains, Montana), who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 85. Bonnie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Baker and Freda S. Baker (Shields); her brothers, Jim Baker and Johnny Baker (Robert Merritt); her son Raymond Higgins; and her grandson Jake Higgins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Paul Baker (Carol) of Grain Valley, MO, Patricia Weaver of Eudora, KS, Jerry Baker (Wanda) of Sedalia, MO and Debbie Villers (Charlie) of Holt, MO.; her children, Randy Higgins (Judy) of Superior, MT., Julie Schrock of Superior, MT., Sherry Spangler (George) of Superior, MT. and Donald Higgins of Superior, MT.; and her great grandchildren, Duane Guade (Stacy), Bessie Spangler, Kate Brown, Lena Higgins, Jay (Shelby), Allyssa Fitzgerald, Carli Mahai, Wally Schrock (Alisha), Cody (Rayann), Derek Higgins, Heather Reese and Ginger Reese.
