It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Stephens of Plentywood, Montana, born in Havre, Montana, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elaine Jensen and Harold Benner; her husband Jim "Nim" Stephens; and her son Robert Ekerberg. She is survived by : her son Randall Ekerberg (Carole); her daughter-in-law Jodee Ekerberg; her siblings, Nancy Wey (Bill), Bonnie Heslin (Bill) and Todd Benner (Karnin); her stepson James Stephens (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jordan (Taylor), Collin and Addison Ekerberg; her stepgranddaughter Annika Stephens; her great grandchild Nova Ekerberg; her sister-in-law Janice Stephens Smalley; and her sons, Luke, Cade and Jake Larochelle.
Barb's active life was cut short by a head injury in an accident which later resulted in a battle with Alzheimer's.
