He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha DeJardine and Ralph DeJardine; his former wife Beverly DeJardine; his sisters, Mary DeJardine and Yvonne Hardy; his brothers-in-law, Roger Hardy and Kenneth Reistad; his niece Julaine Reistad; his stepson-in-law Paul Sagaser; and his stepgranddaughter Chantel Sagaser.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Binde; his sons, Brian (Brenda Nee) and Joel (Jean); his sisters, Marlys Reistad and Joyce Keller; and his stepchildren, Arley Binde (Shirley), Sheri Hanson (Greg), Holly Sagaser and Michele Anderson (Kent). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Writing Rock Lutheran Church (203 Stromstads St, Alkabo, ND 58845).
