He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Forster and Beulah Forster of Greycliff, Montana.; his daughter Kimberly Dawn; his brother Gene; his brother-in-law Dennis; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Grace.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Kelly Taylor (Gregg), Kerry Forster (Lorn) and Randi Bonander (Bryan); his grandchildren, Jarrod Taylor (Abbie), Shelby Douglas (Hunter), Megan Dedmon, Caitlin Gatewood (Taylor), Lauren Jonas (Kyle), Jennifer, Rachel and Breiyah Bonander; his great grandchildren, Marissa, Jett, Gemma, Lani, Addie, Lydia, Jack and Jordan; and his great great grandchild Luciana.

A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Plentywood Lutheran Church (318 E 1st Ave, Plentywood, MT 59254).
