He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Ehret and Bertha Ehret (Hoffman); and his siblings, Barbara Knapp and Kent Ehret. He is survived by: his wife Janice Ruff; his sons, Jeremey (Ann) and Chad (Lana); and his grandchildren, Ashley (Jeff), Austin (Lexi), Maggie (Caleb), Danica (Adam), Eryn, William (Shanea), Jacob (Janae) and Evan.
