With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Merlin Hammerberg (Polson, Montana), who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fritz Hammerberg and Edith Hammerberg; and his brother Dr. Larry D. Hammerberg. He is survived by : his wife Norma Hassel; his son Mike (Leslie); his grandchildren, Joe (Taurie), Jonah (Carlissa) and Ceabian; his son Eric (Jill); and his grandchildren, Stowe, Bryn and Shaine.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Hospital or Mission Valley Animal Shelter in his name.
