He is survived by: his son Lanny Van Meter; his wife Helen; his children, Andy (Mandy) and Sunday Morning Plant (Pete); and his siblings, Dr. Dan Van Meter, Darrell Van Meter (Debbie), Abby Kirby (Terry), Brenda Smith (Jeff), Barb Van Meter, Mary E Burton (Don) and Janet Moran (Steve). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
