He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gonzalez (Anderson) and Jim Simons; his children, Roxanne Morsette and Maurice Morsette; his brother Alvin "Junior Simons" Eagle; his sibling's children, Lane Ferguson and Kristien Ferguson; his mother-in-law JoAnn Russell; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Reddog Jr. and Tracy Reddog.
He is survived by: his wife Farrell Simons; his daughters, Andrea Simons-Mrgudich (David) and Antoinette Simons (Devon); his granddaughters, Cante Skuya, Adelle Brown, Orleena GreyBear and Marilyn Ferguson; his great grandchild Edwin Brown; his brother Jim Simons; his stepmother Mary Lou Simons; and his sibling's children, Brittany Ferguson, Todd Simons and Tyler Ferguson. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A prayer was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Poplar Cultural Center (702 Court Ave, Poplar, MT 59255). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Poplar City Cemetery (600 Court Ave, Poplar, MT 59255).
