She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie White Eagle (Perry) and Roscoe White Eagle; her husband Buddy; her siblings, Theresa White Eagle, Annette Boxer, Joseph White Eagle, Thurman and Kenny White Eagle; her grandson Jay Grandchamp; her nephews, Michael and Wade White Eagle; her niece Lizabeth Boxer Graham; her mother-in-law Marjorie "Tootie" Buckles; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie "Chickie" Weinberger, Mona Blackdog, Ronnie Grainger and Leslie "Sandy" Grainger.
She is survived by: her grandson Adam; her friends, Vivian Jones, Viola Wood and Cathy Wetsit; her cousin Carol Bemer; her sister Janice White Eagle-Johnson; her children, Denise, Dawn, Dave (Marlene), Dan and Adam; her grandchildren, Tina Kohl, Jordan Grainger of David, Gavyn Grainger, Kyle and Racine Forst; her great grandchildren, Johnnie, Joshelle Stormy, Allie, Jaylynn Grandchamp, Cali Kohl and Maverick Kohl; her nieces, Lisa Boxer (Joe) and Ann White Eagle; her nephew Roger Headdress (Nikki); her siblings-in-law, Marquieta Colgan (Tom), Margie Stump, Marilee Buckles and Morris Buckles (Eileen); and her friends, Kate Lafloe, Babes Prichard, Glena Lockman, Charlie Headdress, Charlene Cheek, Floyd Azure, Sr., Edith Adams, Thomas "Pudd" Brown, Sharon Red Thunder, Lori Berger, Marta Jones, Idalynn Magnan, Cheryl Cantrell, Machelle and Jodie Boyd. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and godchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (105 F St W, Poplar, MT 59255). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Grainger Family Cemetery.
