She was predeceased by: her husband Buzz Thiel; her brother Scotty Martin; and her parents, Linda Shaw and Marty Martin. She is survived by: her boyfriend Jim Burows; her daughters, Nicole Nelms (Bobby) and Sarah Thiel; her brother Greg Martin (Julie); her nephew William Martin; her niece Haleyanna Martin; and her grandchildren, Isabell Nelms and Jaxon Nelms.
