Dorothy Eva Dick Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 9, 2026, at the age of 97, Dorothy Eva Dick of Richey, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Unger and Agnes Unger (Friesen); her husband Leonard "Bud" Dick; her daughter Colleen Dick of Richey, MT; her daughter-in-law Dawn Dick; her son Isaac; her siblings, Erwin Unger, Robert Unger, Norbert Unger, Murial Friesen, Howard Unger, Loran Unger, Johnny Unger and Darrel; and her brother-in-law Elmer Quiring.

She is survived by: her son Darrel Dick of Harlowton, MT; her siblings, Irene Quiring of Dallas, OR and Allen Unger (Betty Kaye) of Canyon City, CO; her half-brother Frank Unger (Helen) of Winkler, Manitoba; and her sister-in-law Myrna Unger of Devil's Lake, ND. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Dorothy spent many winters in Texas alongside Leonard and continued making those trips for several years after his passing with the help of her brother Allen until the Covid pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastern Montana Bible Camp.
