He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Louis DeSarro and Isabelle DeSarro; his wife Sally; his children, Candace, Jenny (Mayor Matt Hall), Matt (Amanda) and Amy; his grandchildren, Dominic, Cecilia Bartz (Brandon), Remington, Bella, Hadassah, Gideon and Benjamin; his sisters, Carol Burke (Lawrence), Francine D'Urso (Fernando) and Gina Quant (Mike); and his aunt Masie. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, in-laws.
