It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Lillian DeVries (Roberts, Montana), who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Nester Long and Jennie Long; her husband Bob DeVries; her children, Roly, Verdine (Rick White) of Joliet and Marilyn (Bill Kennedy) of Joliet; her great grandchild Roly Devries (Chris) of Roberts; her children, David, Doug Isler, Karla Rebekka Eichelberger (Mike Bissonnette), Randy DeVries (Charlotte), Jenny (Joe Johnson) and Brenda (Nick Longin); her granddaughter Destiny (Kevin Chirls); her brother Clifford Long of Roberts; her siblings-in-law, Florence Sauther of Spokane, WA and Dick DeVries of Shepherd, MT; her close friend Gladys Weimer; her niece Betty Simons; and her nephews, Frank DeVries and David Long (Theresa) of Kentucky. She was also cherished by her 3 children, 8 grandchildren.
