She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Thurman and Gladys Thurman; her husband Donald Jerome Johnson; her siblings, Ardith LaRue (Marvin), Alvin Thurman (Ellen), Russell Thurman (Alma) and Douglas Thurman (Helen); and her children, Barb Johnson, Rick Johnson (Jeanine), Karl Johnson (Linda), Cheryl Cox (Pat), Dona Williams, Joel Johnson, Jerome Johnson (Kathy) and Patricia "PJ" Klakken (Shane).

She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Keeling (Clifford), Joan (Robert), Dale Thurman (Beverly), Bob Thurman (Barb) and Jack Thurman (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
