He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Dewey and Mary Copple (Simpson); and his siblings, Ileen Pekovitch (Ed), Margaret Copple Anderson, Charles Eugene (Vivian) and David Copple.

He is survived by : his wife Betty; his stepdaughters, Jacqueline Bryson (Bill), Wendeline Bedwell (Tom), Daphne Faler (Mike) and Stephne Erickson (Darrin); his grandchildren, Jamison Schaaf, Flint Schaaf (Amelia), Jesse Faler, Madison Faler, Jodell Bryson, Kirsten Bryson, Scott Bryson, Nathan Robinson (Jaci), Kaden Bedwell (Danielle), Thad Bedwell and Thane Bedwell; his great grandchildren, Kailyn Robinson, Trayton Robinson, Lettie Schaaf and Kyler Bedwell; and his sister-in-law Lola Copple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
