It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylene Parrent (Saint Ignatius, Montana), who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sinclair and Pearl Salois Sinclair; her husband Gerald "Jocko" Parrent Sr.; her son Myron Cobell; her siblings, Richard Sinclair, George Sinclair and Marlene Augare; and her grandchildren, Nathin Cobell, Jonny Blackman and Shayla Murdock.
She is survived by: her children, Linda HeavyRunner (Bill), Gerald "Jocko" Parrent Jr. and Gail Hoppel (Marty); and her sibling Merlin Sinclair. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
