We announce the death of Nona Lynn Wright Stockton of Shepherd, Montana, who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 66. Nona will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Afrey Sanford Wright of Dothan, Alabama.. She is survived by: her father Henry Wesley Wright of Dothan, Alabama; her husband Gilles Stockton of Grass Range, Montana; her sons, John Austin (Paloma Encinas Austin) of Los Angeles and Matt Austin (Tess Fahlgren) of Glasgow, Montana; her stepson Antoine Stockton (Billings); her sisters, Denise Wright of Staunton, Virginia and Suzanne Wright Sisk (Tommy) of Ardmore, Tennessee; and her nephews, Daniel Sanchez and Jacob Sanchez of Ardmore, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Billings nonprofit PEAKS, which provides immediate, short term, non-medical assistance to cancer patients experiencing financial hardship.
