Stephen Dale Grossman Obituary
We announce the death of Stephen Dale Grossman of Shonkin, Montana, born in Fort Benton, Montana, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 76. Stephen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Grossman and Violet Lippert Grossman; his parents-in-law, Mac and Maxine McDede; his brothers, Dennis Grossman and Roger Grossman; and his granddaughter Abby Grossman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol McDede; his children, Jess (Kelly), Gage (Shannon) and Megan (Turk Lords); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Browning (Mason), Ahmia Lords, Kourtney Jo Grossman, Brock Grossman, Slater Lords, Riley Grossman, Keegan Grossman and Emma Grossman; and his brother Darel Grossman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benton Funeral Home (1201 Front St, Fort Benton, MT 59442). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (2211 St Charles St, Fort Benton, MT 59442). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (747 Cemetery Rd, Fort Benton, MT 59442).
