She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Schafer and Jacob Schafer; her husband Lloyd Welke; and her sisters, Anna Schafer, Freida Schafer and Lina Simonis.
She is survived by: her nephew Hans Schafer (Reba) of Caddo; her godson Cameron Karst of Fairview; her sibling's children, Draxxin Snow, Jettson Nickles and Lakelyn Benhardt; her close friends, Don, Val Franz of Sidney and Gail Walla of Crane; and her friend Honey. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home (315 2nd St NW, Sidney, MT 59270). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Memorial Chapel (315 2nd St NW, Sidney, MT 59270).
