He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay McCartney and Phyllis McCartney; and his brother Lee. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine (Turgeon); his daughter Vanessa McCartney (Thomas Fleming); his grandchild Christian Fleming; his siblings, Kathryn Marshall (Patrick) and Marshall; his cousin Jolynn Sprinkle; and his friend Sue Vashus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
