It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth E. Pederson of Sidney, Montana, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Brosten and Serina Brosten; her husband Halvard Pederson; her son John; her great grandchildren, Henry and Bridgette Tieszen; and her sisters, Verda Pederson and Anne Koch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Nelson, Loretta Pederson, Marsha Buckley (Bill) and Kim Lesh (Bret); her grandchildren, Angie Buckley Ryan Buckley (Scott Leap), Sara Nelson, Zach Nelson, Andi Tieszen (Jake), Riley Lesh Clinton (Destiny) and Guy Lesh; and her great grandchildren, Kasyn, Kyra, Kamryn, Kyler Buckley, Calvin, Archie Tieszen, Eli, Aiden Rose, Rhett and Riplee Lesh.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Memorial Chapel (315 2nd St NW, Sidney, MT 59270). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pella Lutheran Church (418 W Main St, Sidney, MT 59270).
