He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Aschim and Doris Aschim. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Aschim of Bigfork and Cari Galbraith of Bigfork; his grandchildren, Kayli East (Galbraith) of Kalispell, Emmett Aschim, Bozeman and Tyler Galbraith; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Kazdyn East; and his siblings, Terry Aschim (Laura) of Fort Benton, Rick Aschim (Sally) of Sunburst and Jill Hauer (Tom) of Great Falls. He is also survived by nieces/nephews.
He went out of his way to generously help others, donating his machinery, tools, time, and talents to assist whenever needed.
