He is survived by: his sisters, Jean Thompson, JoAnn Plymale and Linda Ellis; his children, Terry Brookshire and Tina Peabody; and his stepchildren, Linda Tihlarik, Richy Vallejo, Henry Vallejo, Albert Vallejo, Sam Vallejo, Trish Smith, Christine Smouse and David Vallejo. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 25 step-grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
