Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alice McGaw of Townsend, Montana, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 97, on July 24, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Belrose and Waive Belrose (Wayne McGaw); her sons, Charles and Gordon McGaw; her grandson Lucas Tearle Johnson; her great grandchild Terrick Lucas Johnson; and her friend Edward Burtch (Ed).

She is survived by : her son Charlie; her granddaughter Diane; her daughters, Diane Frueh (Gary) and Doreen Kennedy (David); her sister Anne Knodle (Gerald); her grandsons, Cliff Johnson (Kelly) and Jon Johnson (Kristen); and her great grandchildren, Sadie Johnson, Tyrell Johnson (McKenzie) and Cassidy Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their extended families.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Alice's behalf to the Mountain Valley Church in Townsend, MT of which she was a charter member.

“In loving memory of Alice McGaw, I have come to know Alice over the last 20+years. She always made me feel welcome and as much a part of the family as someone could be. It was always a joy to go and visit with her on Sunday when I was in town visiting. Or sharing Thanksgiving dinners with her. I will always cherish those memories and will miss making new ones. Wish I could be there with you all! Know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers!!”
