He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Brassfield and Evelyn Brassfield. He is survived by: his wife Donna Brassfield; his children, Jeff Brassfield (Tami), Jay (Lois), Julie and Jesse; his stepchildren, Terrie Wendt (Gary) of Iowa, Michael Barrett (Michelle) of East Helena and Michelle Beebe (Brent) of Townsend; and his siblings, Anita Blewett, Cheryl Wiebers (Don) and Leroy Brassfied.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Daryl's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or charities for disabled and wounded veterans.
