He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Welch (Young) and John "Jack" Welch; and his siblings, Bryan Welch, Margo Dundas and Carmen Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Olsen; his children, Delbert Henry (Shauna), Randy Welch (Jami), Elizabeth Clarkson (Eli) and Greg Welch (Clare); and his siblings, Marsha Marks, Bruce Welch and Gary Welch.
