He is survived by : his former life partners, Beth Ihle and Andrew Weston McDonnell (Megan); his spouse Augusta Renee Conley (Ryan); his granddaughter Savannah Ruth McDonnell; and his siblings, Mike McDonnell, Jeanette Manley (Scott), Leo McDonnell, Jr. (Sam) and Patty Brus (Tim).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kevin McDonnell Memorial Scholarship Fund at Opportunity Bank, the scholarships will be awarded to Broadwater High School graduating seniors.
