He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Colbert and Marie Colbert; his grandfather Mike; his wife Judy; his brother Don Colbert; his brother-in-law Doug Tommerup; and his daughter Katherine.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Alvin; his granddaughter Heather; his great grandchildren, Alec, Michael and Matt; his children, Heather Nehring (Jeff) of Manhattan and Matthew Colbert (Geneva) of Belgrade; his grandchildren, Alec Nehring (Anna), Michael Nehring (Lauren) and Delanie Colbert; his siblings, Phil Colbert (Jann) of Helena, Dave Colbert (Nancy) of Eureka and Leota Fred (John) of Bozeman; his siblings-in-law, Randy (Helen), Terry (Cathy), Jeff (Connie), Brian (Angie) and Joan; Delanie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
