It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Chrest (Twin Bridges, Montana), born in Glendive, Montana, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Thomas Dean and Grace Estella Slinkard-Dean; her brother Ira Thomas Jr.; and her husband Howard Chrest. She is survived by: her children, David Chrest (Edrialyn), Steve Chrest (Deidre) and Susie Chrest Nye (Andy); her grandchildren, Donica, Jory, Owen, Rachael, Bryce, Keeley and Connor; and her sibling Bridges. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
