It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maarten Willem Schaap of West Yellowstone, Montana, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugo Schaap and Johanna Clazina VanBeekum; and his grandson Trysen Schaap. He is survived by : his children, Jody Schaap of Bountiful, UT, Jayne Garner (Steve), Julia Wittmer (Scott) and Marty Schaap (Tammy). He is also survived by eight grandsons and three granddaughters along with nine great-grandchildren.
