It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Duane Darrel Hartman of Whitefish, Montana, born in Newport, Washington, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George S Hartman and Edith R Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Joy Hartman; his children, Douglas Hartman (Bena), Pamela Shaw and Gregory Hartman; his grandchildren, Amanda Ramers (Adam), Andrew Shaw, Alisha Shaw, Vail Hartman, Laya Hartman and Bethany Hartman; and his siblings, Bernard Hartman (Kay), Dwight Hughes (Lorinda) and Jerry Saterlie (Barb). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
