She was predeceased by : her parents, Minna Lundborg (Brandenburg) and Elmer Lundborg; her husband Armen Hidalgo; and her stepdaughter Sandy Hidalgo. She is survived by : her sister Janine Settelmeyer; her children, David Hidalgo (John Bischof) and Stephanie Eisenstein (Anthony Eisenstein); and her stepchildren, Betsy Pahut (Larry Pahut) and Joey Hidalgo (Lorna Hidalgo). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

She supported and organized local fund-raising efforts and took great pleasure sparking bidding wars at charity auctions to maximize contributions.
