Lucy Chun Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy Chun in Whitehall, Montana, born in Cardwell, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 92. For Lucy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sunny Chun and Lucy. She is survived by: her son Terry Chung; her grandson Sebastian Chung (Avery); her niece Kasey Congleton; and her friends, Chuck Larsen of Greene's Grocery, Hee Hong (Sonny) and Anne Miller. She is also survived by numerous friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel (1805 Meadowlark Ln, Butte, MT 59701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
