It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Peterson in Whitehall, Montana, born in Murray, Utah, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Wayne departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Wayne. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleone Peterson (Jensen) and Max Darrell Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Pat Peterson; his sons, Eric Peterson (Gracie) and Scott Peterson; and his siblings, Richard Peterson and Pamela Tuttle (Kevin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins, and family friends.
