She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Efta and Margaret Efta; her siblings, Clement, Francis, Lawrence, Tony, Marcella and Margarite; her daughter Kateri Trimble (Charles); her former life partner Raymond Turcotte (Doc); and her husband Miles.

She is survived by : her children, John Barclay (Kathleen), Pat Barclay (Sharon), Mary Duncan (Richard), Margaret Barclay, Marcella Wilson (Keith) and Michele Kindsfater (Bruce).

Roberta (Bobbi) Ponke Silk wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Genevieve Turcotte, May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. Genevieve was my father's double cousin (Raymond Ponke). She was also good friends growing up with my aunts Dorothy Ponke and Marian Ponke. They were all close in age. I am doing Geni.com trying to build a family tree.
