She was predeceased by : her mothers, Delphine Barthel and Dorothy Barthel (Zielinski); her husband Richard Schowalter; and her brother Jim Barthel. She is survived by : her daughter Dorothy J. "DJ" Schowalter (Chris Martin) of Glendive, Montana; her grandchildren, Hunter and Hadlie; and her siblings, Richard Barthel (Judy) of Lead and Diana Dobrowski (Lewis) of Beach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
