He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Riles and Hazel Riles (Yeadon); his siblings, Donnie (Vietnam) and Mary Niemi; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by : his friends, Bump and Runs; his significant other Maggie; his daughters, Heather Grzechowiak (Ed) of West Seneca and Donnialle Riles (Ryan Kvam) of Austin, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Gavin Riles, Lexi Riles, Hunter Riles, Madilynn Riles and Zack Riles; and his siblings, Paul (Cathy) of Iowa, Tim (Rebecca) of Wisconsin, Betty of Colorado and Colleen Bainter (Dave) of Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
