He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen William Prevatte, Sr. and Doshie Prevatte (Smith); his wife Carmen R. Prevatte; his son Daryl Prevatte; his siblings, Malcolm Prevatte and Louise Eckersley; and his great grandchild Averie Jordanna.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Colegrove (Mike) of Aberdeen, Todd Prevatte (Beth) of Aberdeen, Kevin Prevatte (Kathleen) of Carthage and Shane Prevatte of Aberdeen; and his siblings, Marjorie Davis of Aberdeen, Jane Cowan of Aberdeen, Vicki Smith of Pinehurst, Jake Prevatte (Jane) of West End and John Prevatte (Susan) of Huntersville, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
