It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Blue Greer of Aberdeen, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Blue and Odessa L. Blue. She is survived by: her children, Laura Shafer (William M. Shafer), David Greer (Ellen) and Stephen Greer (Julia); and her grandchildren, John Shafer (Bailey), Matthew Shafer (Erin), Gregory Greer (Brittany), Richard Greer (Alyse), John Greer (Kassi), Rachel Greer Bishop (Matthew), Rebecca Hirth (Chase) and Sarah Greer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Page Memorial United Methodist Church (115 W Main St, Aberdeen, NC 28315). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Bethesda Cemetery (1006 Bethesda Rd, Aberdeen, NC 28315).
